Dr. Florian Spiegl is an innovator and entrepreneur at the nexus of capital markets and fintech.
As the Founder and CEO of EVIDENT Group, a fast-growing licensed investment platform for alternative assets, Florian is leading the transformation of private market access through asset tokenization on blockchain. Under his leadership, EVIDENT is developing next-generation digital market infrastructure, making private markets publicly accessible and enabling more investors to own a part of the future. By facilitating impactful investment opportunities, EVIDENT aims to channel capital toward innovation that drives positive, lasting change.
Florian previously served as CEO and board member of a publicly listed commodities trading technology company. He also co-founded a blockchain solutions startup based in Hong Kong, which was acquired in 2020.
With a strong foundation in traditional capital markets, Florian’s career includes strategy consulting at Boston Consulting Group and senior roles in global wealth and asset management across leading financial hubs such as New York, Zurich, London, and Singapore.
Driven by a commitment to the positive potential of capital, Florian invests in and advises ventures that blend purpose with growth. He co-founded the Hong Kong FinTech Association, taught the FinTech MBA course at Hong Kong University, and has served on the FinTech Advisory Board of the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong.
Florian holds a PhD and studied Economics and Political Science in Vienna.
