Ms Patricia Ho is the Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel of Scroll, a layer 2 rollup solution using zero knowledge proof technology to scale the Ethereum blockchain. Scroll’s mission is to bring billions of users into Ethereum’s ecosystem, be the most secure and trusted Layer 2 network to process trillions of dollars on-chain.
Patricia has versatile experience across blockchain, digital assets, fintech, banking and capital markets. Previously, Patricia was at OKX, a leading global crypto exchange, where she led strategic research on global web3 regulatory developments and advised on DeFi product development. Prior to that, Patricia was the Group Head of Corporate Development & Investor Relations at WeLab, a pan-Asia fintech and digital banking platform, where she successfully raised US$360 million growth equity across 3 fundraising rounds, completed the largest digital bank M&A transaction in Southeast Asia in 2022, as well as obtained a Hong Kong virtual bank licence in 2019.
She started her career in traditional finance and held senior roles at HSBC and Linklaters, as a capital markets and derivatives specialist. Patricia has worked in London, Shanghai, Singapore and Hong Kong.
