Mr. Ankur SINGH

Adviser, BIS Innovation Hub Hong Kong Centre

Mr. Ankur Singh is an Adviser at the BIS Innovation Hub Hong Kong Centre. As part of BISIH, he is leading the work on projects such as the G20 TechSprint 2024 focused on sustainable finance, and Project Symbiosis that aims to use AI and Big Data for enhanced supply chain sustainability disclosures. He is also working on other projects on Open Finance and Central Bank Digital Currencies.

Prior to joining BIS, he was at Reserve Bank of India since 2015, working in the FinTech Department, where he was tasked with identifying and fostering innovative financial products and services. He worked on the digitalization of processes to support sustainability and increase efficiency. The work included Digital payments, Open finance, Retail CBDC, Regulatory Sandbox and leading several TechSprints.

He holds an M.B.A. degree in FinTech and B. Tech in Electronics and Communications. He is also a certified Financial Risk Manager.
