Mr. Marcus Chau is an Associate Director of ESG Ratings of Sustainable Fitch, a Fitch Solutions company. Based in Hong Kong, Marcus is the lead ESG rating analyst in APAC covering real estate, manufacturing and technology sector. He delivers ESG entity and framework rating reports, and second party opinion for sustainable finance transaction frameworks. He also works with other ESG analysts of Sustainability Fitch globally in developing and refining rating methodology.
Marcus joined Sustainable Fitch in 2022. As of today, Marcus has over 14 years of ESG consulting and analysis experience. He had extensive experience in working with Greater China corporate issuers as a ESG specialist consulting in EY.
Marcus earned an MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a Certified ESG Analysis (CESGA) and holder of Certificate in ESG Investing awarded by the CFA Institute.
