Prof. Robin HUANG

Prof. Robin Hui Huang is Chair Professor at the Faculty of Law, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a leading expert in corporate and financial law with a focus on Chinese and comparative issues. He is also Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of New South Wales, Li Ka Shing Visiting Professor of Law at McGill University, Honorary Professor at East China University of Political Science and Law, and Guest Professor at China University of Political Science and Law. He is Specially-Invited Research Fellow of the Supreme People’s Court of PRC and Expert Advisor of Shanghai Financial Court.

He has had more than 130 publications, with articles published in some of the top-rated journals in the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, Israel, Hong Kong and Mainland China, and more than 10 books published with reputable publishers such as Oxford University Press and Cambridge University Press. He is the author of Fintech Regulation in China: Principles, Policies and Practices (Cambridge University Press, 2021). His research has high impact locally and internationally, having informed judicial decisions as well as regulatory and legislative activities in China and beyond.
