Mr. Robert Lui is an Audit & Assurance partner of Deloitte China. He is also the firm’s Hong Kong Digital Asset Leader and Capital Market Services Group Hong Kong Offering Services Leader.
Overseeing Deloitte’s digital asset program in Hong Kong, Robert collaborates with industry stakeholders on wide-ranging projects including licensing, compliance review, and security token offering projects. In the past 20 years, he has led over 50 IPOs for companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, while delivering auditing, internal control, digitalization, and M&A services to listed companies and growth enterprises.
Robert contributes to the industry and society through his services to professional organizations and public sector bodies. As a Member of the HKSAR’s Task Force on Promoting Web3 Development, he plays an active role in supporting the growth of Hong Kong’s digital asset and Web3 ecosystem. His other key external appointments include Chairman of Greater Bay Area Committee at the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Board Director of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute, Divisional President of Greater China for CPA Australia (2023), Council Member of the City University of Hong Kong, and Advisor of CityU Academy of Innovation.
Robert is a practising member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, fellow Certified Practising Accountant (FCPA) of CPA Australia, and senior fellow (SFHKI) of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute.
